In what feels like a win-win for gamers, Xbox Game Pass has a new lower price and an array of new indie titles coming to the service for the rest of April. Leading the charge is Vampire Crawler, a deck-building game from the team behind 2022’s Vampire Survivors.

Xbox Game Pass, a CNET Editors’ Choice award pick, offers a wide selection of games you can play on your Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC or mobile device for as little as $10 a month. With a subscription to the higher-tiered Game Pass Ultimate ($23 per month), you can access hundreds of games, including new ones the day they’re released, each month.

Here are the games Microsoft has made available (or will soon be available) to Game Pass. You can also check out other games the company added to the service earlier in the month, including Hades 2, and more options in our list of the best gaming subscriptions.

    Little Rocket Lab

Now available on Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass.

Morgan is an aspiring engineer determined to finish a family dream: building a rocket. In this cozy machine-building RPG, you’ll design clever contraptions, transform local resources and help rebuild a struggling community along the way. Every invention brings you closer to launch day, where creativity and problem-solving are the only ways to get that rocket off the ground.

Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato

Now available on Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass.

A small task spirals into a magical journey across a vivid, dreamlike world shaped by culture and memory. Wander through lush environments, meet offbeat characters and gather curious ingredients as you follow the path of a long-lost traveler. Along the way, the adventure unfolds into a heartfelt story about legacy, family and the moments that stay with us.

    Vampire Crawlers

Now available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass,

Dive into the turn-based roguelite that blends dungeon crawling with chaotic deck-building from the team that made Vampire Survivors. Explore twisting corridors, battle relentless enemies and stack wild card combos that can spiral into overwhelming power. Whether you plan each move or blaze through turns at speed, every run rewards experimentation as your build grows more unpredictable and unstoppable.

    Kiln

Coming to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 23.

Shape, fire and fight with your own handcrafted creations in a playful multiplayer brawler where artistry meets chaos. Sculpt unique pottery, then bring it to life in arena battles where every crack and collision matters. As matches unfold, creativity turns into competition, challenging you to build designs that can both endure punishment and shatter the opposition.

    Aphelion

Coming to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 28.

Stranded on a frozen world, navigate a gripping third-person sci-fi adventure where survival depends on both resilience and connection. Traverse harsh terrain and unravel shifting realities as you alternate between two astronauts, each offering a different perspective on a desperate mission to stay alive. Blending grounded science with emotional storytelling, every step forward reveals new dangers and deeper stakes.

    Trepang2

Coming to Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass on April 29.

Rip through enemies in a brutal, high-speed FPS where raw power and precision take center stage. Tear across near-future battlegrounds, slowing time, dodging incoming fire and unleashing overwhelming force in tight, chaotic encounters. Every fight pushes you to stay aggressive, chaining abilities and firepower to carve a relentless path of destruction.

Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era (Game Preview)

Coming to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 30.

Return to the roots of a legendary strategy series in this prequel that blends classic turn-based combat with modern scale. Build up kingdoms, command sprawling armies and unleash powerful spells as you outmaneuver rivals across dynamic maps. Whether playing solo or against others, each battle becomes a test of tactics, resource management and long-term strategy.

    Sledding Game (Game Preview)

Coming to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 30.

Slide, crash and laugh your way down snowy hills in a chaotic multiplayer sandbox where speed and style matter just as much as survival. Pull off absurd tricks, build your own ramps and bounce through ragdoll wipeouts while chatting with nearby players, turning every run into a mix of competition and hangout.

    TerraTech Legion

Coming to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 30.

Build, rebuild and weaponize a custom machine on the fly as you tear through endless swarms of AI enemies in this fast-paced roguelike. Each run drops you onto a hostile world where every block you add, from wheels to lasers, reshapes how your vehicle moves and fights, turning survival into a constant balance of design and destruction. As waves escalate and bosses close in, success comes from adapting your build, scavenging upgrades and carving a path through enemy outposts before the planet is completely overrun.

    Final Fantasy V

Coming to Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass on May 5.

Final Fantasy V is the only SNES Final Fantasy game to never make it to the US when it was first released in 1992. It has since been localized across multiple platforms and is the latest retro Final Fantasy game to be included on Game Pass. A world is threatened by evil, and it’s up to a party of heroes to save it.

Game Pass Essential subscribers have 2 more games now

Game Pass Essential costs $10 a month and offers access to a relatively small library of games compared with Game Pass Premium and Ultimate. While Microsoft doesn’t regularly add many games to Essential’s library, the company added these two on April 8.

    Games that left the service

Plenty of games are coming to Game Pass in April, but the service is also losing a chunk of games. Nine games will be leaving on April 30, which means it’s time to finish them before they’re gone for good.
