While recently published job market surveys generally project salaries in Singapore to go up by between 3 and 6%, as ever, it depends on the business you’re in and your role. Labour, after all, is subject to the same laws of supply and demand that determine the prices of the rest of goods and services. Workers in demand are not only paid more but can also expect higher annual increments to keep them from switching to competition. Once…
Enterprise workflow cloud services company ServiceNow Inc. beat expectations as it delivered its fourth-quarter financial results after the bell today, but its guidance came up a tad short, and the stock was trading lower after-hours. The software-as-a-service company reported earnings before certain costs such as stock compensation of 92 cents per share in the quarter, surpassing Wall Street’s consensus estimate of 88 cents. Revenue for the period rose 20% from a year earlier, to $3.57 billion, exceeding the $3.53 billion analyst target. All told, ServiceNow posted net income for the quarter of $401 million, up from a profit of just…
SoftBank is said to be in discussions to invest an additional $30 billion in OpenAI, a deal that would rewrite the competitive balance for artificial intelligence around the world. The talks were earlier reported by Reuters, citing a report from The Wall Street Journal, and they would follow OpenAI’s exploration of raising about $100 billion; that funding round could put the group at around an estimated $830 billion valuation. If the deal does happen, it will be one of the most significant AI-related investments floated to date, and it’s a sign that SoftBank wants a front-row seat in AI rather than just watching from afar. It’s…
(Bigstock Photo) Remember when everyone said Microsoft overpaid for LinkedIn? Nearly a decade later, the $26.2 billion “overpriced” acquisition now generates that much in revenue every 15 months. As Wall Street obsessed over Microsoft’s Azure growth rates and OpenAI accounting, LinkedIn quietly crossed $5 billion in quarterly revenue for the first time in the Redmond company’s December quarter, up 11%. That puts the business social network on an annual run rate of more than $20 billion. LinkedIn is known for its recruiting tools and job postings, but given overall weakness in the job market, the latest growth is being fueled…
Your leads are dying. Not metaphorically – actually dying in your CRM while you watch. Marketing celebrates hitting their MQL target. Sales complains that the leads are garbage. And somewhere between the handoff and the third follow-up email, 80% of those leads disappear into the void, never to convert. That’s not a leak in your funnel. That’s a hemorrhage. In 2026, the average B2B company takes 42 hours to respond to a lead. By then, they’ve talked to three competitors, lost interest, or decided to stick with their current solution. You spent thousands generating that lead – acquisition costs climbing…

Cybersecurity researchers have flagged a new malicious Microsoft Visual Studio Code (VS Code) extension for Moltbot (formerly Clawdbot) on the official Extension Marketplace that claims to be a free artificial intelligence (AI) coding assistant, but stealthily drops a malicious payload on compromised hosts. The extension, named “ClawdBot Agent – AI Coding Assistant” (“clawdbot.clawdbot-agent”), has since been taken down by Microsoft. It was published by a user named “clawdbot” on January 27, 2026. Moltbot has taken off in a big way, crossing more than 85,000 stars on GitHub as of writing. The open-source project, created by Austrian developer Peter Steinberger, allows…
Not everyone wants to rule the world, but it does seem lately as if everyone wants to warn the world might be ending. On Tuesday, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists unveiled their annual resetting of the Doomsday Clock, which is meant to visually represent how close the experts at the organization feel that the world is to ending. Reflecting a cavalcade of existential risks ranging from worsening nuclear tensions to climate change to the rise of autocracy, the hands were set to 85 seconds to midnight, four seconds closer than in 2025 and the closest the clock has ever been…
