NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman, far left, walks around Launch Complex 39B at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida with a team of troubleshooters working on a helium flow issue with the Space Launch System rocket in the background. (NASA Photo) NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman says the giant rocket set to send four astronauts around the moon for the history-making Artemis 2 mission must be rolled back from its launch pad to troubleshoot a technical problem. The 10-day mission, previously scheduled for as soon as March, is now postponed until April at the earliest. “I understand people are disappointed by this…
Google has officially unveiled the Pixel 10a, its newest entry in the A-series lineup. On the surface, it looks like another compelling budget-friendly Pixel: minimalist design, fresh colours, a large battery, and Google’s well-known AI features. But dig a little deeper, and the excitement quickly fades. For many buyers, the Pixel 10a may feel like a déjà vu moment – a phone that looks new but behaves very much like last year’s Pixel 9a. In fact, the similarities run so deep that a growing number of users and reviewers are asking the same question: Why upgrade at all? Despite its…
Why did humans evolve the eyes we have today? While scientists can’t go back in time to study the environmental pressures that shaped the evolution of the diverse vision systems that exist in nature, a new computational framework developed by MIT researchers allows them to explore this evolution in artificial intelligence agents. The framework they developed, in which embodied AI agents evolve eyes and learn to see over many generations, is like a “scientific sandbox” that allows researchers to recreate different evolutionary trees. The user does this by changing the structure of the world and the tasks AI agents complete, such as…
Nothing has made me appreciate the sheer scale and power of targeted advertising like having children. Months before the births of both my kids, it felt like every ad I encountered wanted to sell me baby products. And on seemingly every product were the same two words in bold letters: plant-based.I’m not kidding. Diapers, baby wipes, teething rings, bath toys — it’s all plant-based these days. Once I saw the phrase on baby products, I started to notice it everywhere. There are plant-based foods, of course (like Impossible burgers and Beyond sausage). There’s plant-based protein, which is kind of like…
If a headphone jack is a must-have on your next phone, Motorola’s Moto G Stylus 5G 2025 strikes the best balance of performance, aesthetics, features, and price. Not only does it have the jack, but it also stores a stylus inside, an embarrassment for any other company that cited space-saving reasons to nix the port. The gorgeous blue vegan leather finish on the back truly makes this phone stand out, putting the Blue Man Group to shame. The performance, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, is nice and smooth, and you get a 120-Hz 6.7-inch OLED screen to…

Cloud startup Fluidstack Ltd. is reportedly in talks with Google LLC about a $100 million investment. The Wall Street Journal today cited sources as saying that the deal could value Fluidstack at $7.5 billion. Learn how Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) helps brands appear in AI-powered search results by combining technical SEO with high-value, problem-solving content. Think of the internet as a massive library. Traditional SEO is the cataloging system—the Dewey Decimal codes that tell the librarian where the books are. But the Answer Engine is the librarian who has been asked a specific, difficult question. The librarian isn’t going to hand the patron ten books and say, “Good luck.” They are going to read the best book and summarize it. AEO is the art of being that book. The relationship between SEO and AEO…
